My Wiki is here:
Clive Sir's Wiki
The wiki contains my resources for boosting computer-literacy.
The Provisional Computer Driving Licence introduces core skills: Security, Email, Web, Word Processing, Photo Editing and Burning CDs. In developing countries particularly, computer viruses are rife, so the schools need to know what they are and how to avoid them. They need to know how to use email and the web so that they can communicate easily and effectively, find materials for their subjects and research topics. They need to know how to use a word processor and how to handle photos - how to edit and resample so that their email attachments are small. This is all intended for internet-connected schools, to help teachers get the most from the Internet.
I show my most able students the tools for their own professional development - Twitter, Tweetdeck, Blogs and Google Reader, though these things are not yet covered in the wiki.
